Children of

Abraham Day

Children of Abraham Day, a growing interfaith holiday observed on the first Friday of December, celebrates the shared heritage of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This panel discussion, held at the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids, MI, brought together Dr. Dylan Pahman, Rabbi David Krishef, and Children of Abraham Day founder Farhat Qazi to explore the theme “Abraham and the Foundations of a Free Society.” Moderated by Nathan Mech, founding director of the Collins Center for Abrahamic Heritage at Acton, the conversation examined how Abraham’s moral legacy continues to shape ideas of freedom, responsibility, human dignity, and religious liberty in public life today.
