To assist educators, schools and community leaders with recognizing the Children of Abraham Day, we offer age-appropriate lesson plans that help children learn about the common origin of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in a respectful, factual and objective manner and to allow forums for students to speak positively about the commonality of these major religions.

Suggested Activities:

 

• Plan a celebration/party incorporating culturally sensitive food offerings

• Share Children of Abraham Day Poem (insert link to poem) and have students offer reflections

Incorporate group discussions related to religious freedom as bestowed by our Constitution
